Ancient Midrashic text on various Torah and haftarot portions read on holidays and special shabats, attributed to Rav Kahane, compiled circa 500 c.e.
Many, including compilers of other Midrashic collections and the author of the Tosafot drew from this seminal work which was first published by Shlomo Buber in Lemberg, 1868.
