Beginning with high school, he studied in various affiliates of Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim (the Rabbinical Seminary of America), as well as at its central location in Queens. Subsequently, he received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Moshe Heineman while attending Ohr Yisrael Kollel at the Beis Medrash of Kew Garden Hills. The Lowy family resided in Kew Garden Hills for several years and currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with their son, Zevi.
