Shomer Emunim is a Hasidic work written by Rabbi Aharon Roth, founder of the Shomer Emunim Hasidic community. It was first printed in Jerusalem in 1942.
The book discusses trust and faith, including Divine Providence. It brings teachings from the Sages on these subjects, and its name comes from the theme of faith. The book also includes the pamphlets Ahavat HaBorei (“Love of the Creator”) and Simchah (“Joy”).
Rabbi Roth’s son-in-law, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kahn, wrote a commentary on the book called Tosefot Biurim (“Additional Explanations”). He praised the author’s work, referring to the difficult period of the war and the reports of what the enemy was doing to the Jews in Poland in 1941–1942.
