The Siddur Tefillat HaAri is carefully arranged according to the tradition that the divine Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Vital, of blessed memory, received from his foremost teacher, the holy Rabbi Isaac Luria Ashkenazi—the Ari, of blessed memory.

The siddur is based on a Sephardi prayerbook, with the textual variations Rabbi Chaim Vital chose to include according to what he received from his teacher, the Ari. It was reviewed against Rabbi Chaim Vital’s own handwritten text.

This edition also includes selected kavanot (prayer meditations), customs, and insights gathered from reliable writings of the Ari. These are intended to help worshippers focus their hearts in prayer according to the tradition of the Kabbalists.
