Ginat Egoz - Rabbi Yosef Gikatilla

A major Kabbalistic classic, composed by Rabbi Joseph Gikatilla (1248-1310) at the age of 26. The author who lived in Spain, was a student of Rabbi Avraham Abulafia.

This book deals with the Names of God and the kabbalistic interpretation of the Hebrew vowels (i.e, each vowel corresponding to one of the Ten Sefirot). In this work he quotes Rambam, Rabbi Shlomo ibn Gabirol, Rabbi Shmuel HaNaggid, and Rabbi Avraham ibn Ezra.(Kabbalah)
