Shevet Yehuda - Spain 1492 (Rabbi Shlomo ibn Virga)

Considered to be one of the outstanding works of the Hebrew literature of the Renaissance, dealing with the persecutions of the Jews and the expulsion from Spain.

The work was first published in Turkey in 1554. Ibn Virga left Spain in 1492, and settled in Portugal, but eventually found a home in Italy.
