Author’s Preface. The first part of this book will discuss the “theory of universal ethics,” previously published as a monograph, “Perspectives on the Laws for the Descendants of Noah – Universal Ethics.” It comprises numerous individual articles by the author, some of which were published as the result of many years of work on the topic of the Seven Commandments of the Almighty as a fundamental ethical covenant concluded with all of humanity in the global community. The second part of the book, which covers the practical application and implementation of the Laws for the Descendants of Noah, was also previously published in a pilot version, under the title “The Practice of Universal Ethics.” I have been especially blessed by the fact that the content of this section, for whose accuracy I am particularly responsible, was approved by one of the greatest experts in the field of Noahide Laws, Rabbi Moshe Weiner, author of The Seven Commandments of the Almighty. He, in turn, relied on the assistance and advice of one of the greatest modern sages, a recognized authority on our Tradition, Rabbi Zalman Nehemiah Goldberg, when writing his work. Rabbi Weiner’s words of approval and blessing are also included in this book. I sincerely appreciate his invaluable advice. At the end of the Introduction, you will find advice on how to best study and use the second part of the book, depending on the personal level of each reader.
