Torat HaOlah is a major work, which discusses the sacrifices and the service in the Beit HaMikdash, by Rabeinu Moshe Isserles, the Rama, the author of the Ashkenazi glosses to the Shulchan Aruch.
Besides discussing the laws of the Temple and their reasons, the Rama discusses principles of faith. This sefer spurred a large controversy between the Rama and his uncle, the Maharshal, primarily for quoting Aristotle, the letters of which are recorded in both of the great Rabbis' Teshuvot.
