Words Of Torah, Insightful Questions And Inspiring Stories

We don’t often get a chance to ask penetrating questions of our family or friends. Most conversation is mundane. The one time in the week when we can learn — and be inspired by the thoughts and life experiences of others — is Shabbos. But how can we bring that about? How can we engage family, friends and guests so that we make the relevant Torah portion come alive?

The Welcome to Our Table series shows exactly how. It provides a user-friendly guide to help one and all make the most of the Shabbos experience. And, while it will not deliver the food to your table, it will deliver the rest — amazing Torah wisdom, insightful questions and inspiring stories — from our table to yours!

"Approbations:"

Welcome to Our Table will be an invaluable addition to any Shabbos table.”

-Rabbi Yissocher Frand, Rosh Yeshivah, Yeshivas Ner Israel

“This book is … tailor made for family discussion and Torah study, and it is entertaining and provocative.”

-Rabbi Berel Wein Founder and Director, The Destiny Foundation

“You will relish (no pun intended) this book, and devour (pun intended) the contents. But more than anything else, it will inspire you in how to conduct a Shabbos table in the spirit of Avrohom Avinu.”

Rabbi Paysach J. Krohn Best-selling author of the “Maggid” series and more...

“In Welcome to Our Table, you will ¬find two short divrei Torah on every Parasha of the year, followed by questions for discussion [and] by different answers and insights of the Wasserman family (including their children) and their many guests, augmented by personal stories and anecdotes...The beauty of these questions is that they are equally applicable to children and adults — the four-year-old who didn’t get a piece of cake and the adult passed over for promotion are amazingly in the same predicament, and each has something he or she can learn from the other…Welcome to Our Table is a lovely book from which every family at any level of religious observance or education could greatly benefit.”

Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz, Rav of Kehillas Ohr Somayach
